Really just need improvement of coaches and director to get immediate benefits. Nobody seems to know what they are doing there.

It's more a matter of not caring. They do nothing for the pro team either. Soccer absolutely is the red headed step child who is granted a room in the attic and whatever scraps are tossed their way. NYCFC or Atlanta are good examples of management dedicated to making it work

That's very true. They need better coaches who will be good coaches regardless of whether Kraft likes the Revs or not.

Walking down the sidelines of what appeared to be a U-10 Valeo game and kept hearing a father on the sideline yelling to his kid "Think the Revs! Everytime you are out there, think of the Revs. If you want to play for them, you have to be better!!"

I thought that was the oddest conversation ever.

First...you are a parent, STFU on the sidelines. Your loud obnoxious coach seemed perfectly capable to handle it all.

Second...it's the Revs. Set your sites a little higher.

Third...play the friggin' game and don't be thinking about "the Revs" when you should be learning to play.

Whole thing was odd.

They had some really good players walk out on them this past summer. Isn't it telling that kids would walk away from the region's only MLS Academy? Do you think kids walk away from Toronto FC or Sounders Academy opportunities? Everybody knows at this point what is going on at the Revs academy organization.

Some families wisely left for prep or private schools. Good education (grades matter!) and decent soccer, do high level club and you'll be fine. It's a good path for many given the other options in the area.
