I apologize for not being clearer in my post. I meant no disrespect to club soccer. That's why I put the word 'additional' in my post. I have a great deal of respect for all players and parents playing any form of soccer. Can't say the same for all coaches and organizations. Fwiw, unless my son desperately wanted to play academy or was the second coming of Messi (and no such player exists in this area), if I had unlimited money, I would have him playing high school and for an NPL club. There are definitely NPL teams that could compete with local DAP teams. It just gets damn expensive as I'm sure most sane parents are quite aware. So if's there's a decent alternative (in this case, the Revs), you probably have to take it.

Most DA teams could play up and age group and still beat NPL teams handily. Anyone that's played DA and is now on an NPL team did not leave willingly. #Fakenews by a digruntled parent.

This is written by a parent with limited exposure to DA and a great deal of exposure to club administrators desperate to retain paying customers and the few talented players they could potentially lose to DA.
