Not a big deal.

GPS is also expensive (same as Bolts) when you throw in the Disney showcase and the Jefferson cup. That was not the point. The point was that Bolts DAP costs is full price (around 6-7K) while Seacoast is around $1K (travel) and Revs are free.

After wear and tear, travel and the threat of accidents 4 days a week, probably spend $4k in wear and tear on your car alone to Seacoast or Revs. Why measure life like that? 90% of Seacoast and Revs kids are wealthy enough that experiences overseas are common investments for their kids. Bolts parents get to continue careers without interruption and driving mayhem. Coaching is great too. Win-win

This is for the sake of argument only, interesting in how to get quality coaches paid.

But I'm sure he'll land a spot at Middlebury and you'll be happy.
You didn't answer my question, and no reason insult my kid (not a boy), Middlebury (which is a fantastic school).
I'll rephrase: where will the money come from to find all the superstahs that have been missed? Where will the money come from to pay a decent salary for the qualified coaches that are needed.
You see it as a problem, so either you are:
a) Venting, with no hope for a resolution. That's fine, but don't expect anything in return but similar.
b) Have a solution. So, let's hear it.

The remarks of a truly ignorant person.
I recognize that this is your attempts at sarcasm, but the truth is that any kid that lands a spot at Middlebury should consider themselves fortunate.

And yes Middlebury is an excellent academic institution. Sports not so much

In all my years I've met roughly 8 people that were happy with the Revs. Most there can afford any fee that any team threw at them. It's not about the money. Their kids don't get what they should out of the program. After the first 6 month honeymoon where they get to pump their tires about playing for the Revs the world starts to unravel. Free isn't always what it is cracked up to be. That's a lot of driving for your kid to be miserable and disenchanted with soccer.
Our family never got sucked in by the whole RDS puppy-mill. I guess I saved enough money there to make Bolts seem like a perfectly good value.
