The perception that the Revs academy is the best game in town is just that, perception. Is the talent divide, the difference in coaching, and the overall development experience really that significant over the other DA clubs? They aren't the Red Bulls or FC Dallas. It's marginal if we're really being honest about it all.

They talk pathway to the pros over and over, but reality is at the end of the day, other than a very small handful of exceptionally talented kids given undivided attention, they are prepping and shipping players off to college just like Bolts and Seacoast do.

With regard to the Krafts, San Francisco slighting Tom Brady and letting him to 199th in the draft to the Pats was arguably the biggest franchise-defining moment in the history of US sports, and we'll see just how successful the team will be once he retires.

When Bill & Tom retire the Krafts will sell the team.

I don't think there is anyone on that roster with those initials

Check again. He shares the same first name with the former Revs player now at Georgetown.

Why is one removed from the roster on the Revs site but not the other?

Some animals are more special than others.

I think we're seeing just the beginning of this trend. There will be more Revs players every year looking to jump to European academies after realizing the Revs are pretty much a dead end for them. Those at the academy just to get into a better college will end up staying, but those looking to try making a career out of playing will realize soon enough that the Revs won't help them any.

                        That's not accurate. He quit.

Revs players dropping like flies between injuries and leaving one way or another.

Quit and went to the Bolts. He didn't play much with the Revs anyways.

Unfortunately many aren't pro material anyway. They'll find out soon enough. I'm not saying the Revs aren't always right or that they aren't a dead end - they are. But parents are the worst possible judges of their kids' talent
