Immediate American branding boost for the club. All about $$$.Why do you think Schalke is looting American players? Free players and a huge pot of gold awaiting them if they pan out.
What do you mean by "monitor", have them detained at the airport and prevent them from ever going to the fields? I like that! That kinda worked a couple of weeks ago.

Not quite $300k, but likely more than the $60,000 MLS minimum. Besides it's the upside potential that really matters.

Jordan Morris was in a unique situation with his father being the Sounders team doctor, but if his salary is any indication - he received $675k guaranteed ($225k per) over his first three seasons, and that number was arrived at as a fairly close apples-to-apples counter to what Werder Bremen were offering him.

The difference is that Morris was a homegrown. Salaries for homegrown players are much higher and salaries don't count for cap. If Revs don't give home homegrown then it's a no brainer

Morris is the exception. Most domestic homegrowns are getting minimum salaries around the league. The Sounders actually do give a sh*t about the soccer team and fanbase, unlike our beloved Revs. Seattle draws the largest attendance in MLS and are a very committed ownership group. You know what I had to scramble to get for my youngest son this past Xmas? An authentic Dortmund Pulisic jersey. It set me back 170 bucks! That's what it's all about!!!!

Speaking of giving a shyte, Grant Wahl reported earlier today Atlanta United is committing 60 MILLION! to their training facility. Not the Mercedes Benz arena, but just the training center.

That is better than most European teams, save for the uber wealthy elite clubs.

Kraft committed to $40 million to a gangbanging serial killer tight end. The Kraft's are without a doubt the luckiest family in professional sports. If it weren't for Belichik, they'd be left with cardboard. They don't know a thing about soccer, nor do they care.

Oh Oh, mutiny in Foxboro? It was bound to happen.

Introducing the 2017 Revolution puppets. Brian Bilello, Mike Burns, Jay Heaps and Brian Scales. That is what you call a smokescreen professional organization. The biggest kiss ass fool around is Don Garber.

No but many players would leap at the chance to play abroad with a higher level club. Better pay, better training, better competition than anything the MLS can offer. It may not work out in the long run but with careful savings you'd have enough to come back go to college.

Hey, wait a minute. The Empower field house is state of the art. Dean College is also.
                      Hahahaha!! What a joke!

You're strengthening my point here. I agree with you.

Scales' favorite overused expression when imploring the parents to stay off social media is to"ignore the noise". Well dude, sometimes it makes sense to listen to the "noise" because you and that popsicle stand of an "MLS' academy is laughable beyond words.

I think we all agree, if someone has the ability to play abroad, and a top-6 Bundesliga team at that, the decision is very easy.

Indiana or Div I is a fall back, but signing a pro contract and getting NT call ups, that is a road that has to be pursued to the fullest.

It ceases to become a fall-back once a contract is signed.
