But it also shows that if a player doesn't have that extra something special, whether it be on the mental side (incredible field vision or creativity) or on the athletic side (amazing speed, balance, and coordination), no amount of molding will get the average/above average kid to the highest levels. I think it's great that they tried their best and we need tons more kids given these same types opportunities in order to find the few that have what it takes.
