The introductory camp for the 2003s was about where you expect it to be at this point. There are some players who made the camp who did not look like they were up for the level and there were other players in the camp who looked like they should be with the 2002s already. This is going to be a long process for these players as they go through the National Team programming, but there is a reason to be optimistic about the group. Dante Sealy, Sebastian Burke, Nicolas Pereira, Jack McGlynn, Brian Lopez, Issac Homer, and Eliot Jones look to have a promising future on the field.
    Well done.

Just because you grow first, it doesn't mean you'll be the biggest forever!

Just because you are small, doesn't mean you will grow.

Poor kid. Watch how they ruin him. I'm sure Valeo will claim they trained him.

No, I'm not sure who Varleo is but they will not ruin him, he's has God given ability.

Valeo imposters claiming him as we speak. The secret force grows stronger.

Duh! Only if their dad is restrained from coaching games. Unfortunately, he comes in the same package. No, thanks, let them stay with the Revs

And that's the list. If you think the National team is going to choose 4ft tall defenders, think again. They choose goal scorers and 6'2" defenders. Period.

If you're a late bloomer you have to be beyond to special. This is true in many sports, not just soccer. Middle school years are very difficult since kids grow at such different rates, especially boys who often times grow well into HS and occasionally even college. The reality is a small player can easily get pushed off the ball by another who has 50lbs on him. Isn't always fair but it's tough to combat.

Google a guy named Leo Messi.

...and he is not the exception. Any 'small' player that is on anyone's radar has developed core strength and balance that is often even an advantage in soccer.

...if you can't find Messi, search for Antoine Griezman.

Late bloomer? What about a never bloomer?
