SO smug. I'm not saying you should try to influence the coach or that your kid needs you as an intermediary. What I'm saying is you need to pay very close attention to the coaching staff and Scales because they don't give a rats ass about your kid and will screw him over in a minute to benefit themselves or just because they feel like it.

Not smug, I know my kid could get cut at the end of they year. I just don’t lose sleep over it, nor does he. It’s not like the Revs is the only game in town.

No, it's not the only game in town....but they were formed in order to get out of the pay to play system and offer a true chance to kids who may not have the economic advantages of others. So, if you aren't in the financial place t pay the Bolts and the like, what do you do with a club that literally gives no f*cks bout your kid??

Most of the Revs parents have money and this is nonsense. The best players play for free or next to nothing on all DA teams. What you are basically saying is that you are cheap or you kid is not as good as you thought.

My son played for the Revs and I assure you that I didn't have the money at the time to send him to the Bolts....even with scholarship money. That doesn't make me cheap, but it does make you a jerk.

Probably best to start a TS thread, it will definitely force change over at Foxboro. Grassroots power!

“Revs parents are going to make some changes”. That will make the Krafts finally question their whole approach.

Sure. You don't get it. It's been like this forever.

Stage 1: My son made the Revs!!!!
Stage 2: My son is practicing with the Revs!!!
Stage 3: Don't listen to the naysayers, its ALL GOOD!!!
Stage 3: My son sat on the bench for most of the game, again.
Stage 4: What's going on, where's the development if he doesn't play much?
Stage 5: They cancelled practice. AGAIN!
Stage 6: What he hell, that kid does nothing be dribble. He doesn't play defense. EVER.
Stage 7: Same lineup AGAIN. Nothing changes.
Stage 8: The coach is from WHERE? Never heard of it.
Stage 9: Should we put up with these ****ty coaches for another year?
Stage10: Well, at least we don't have to pay. I'd have to work more otherwise.
Stage11: Wait, they are doing same superstar lineup **** again this year?
Stage12: Can't believe we got conned into this for another year.

Ask Aly Raisman's parents how this worked out for her.

Over-involved and delusional Revs parents + bad coaching = train wreck for the spring.
