Hey OW predator dad, next time you target that Revs kid, I hope his dad beats you to a pulp. How will you steer your sh*tbox car back to CT. with eyes swollen shut and broken fingers?

Talking about a specific Revs player and identifying his jersey number here is pretty low but have you seen "Back of the Net" from the New York area? Those degenerates call (U14 DA players) out by name and obliterate them.

Where was dad (or any other Revs dad, mom, coach,...Bueller...) when this bonehead from OW was tormenting the kid? The game was played at Gillette so you know they were all there. And they had to hear the guy, the place is as quiet as a church during these games.

The parents have to pay for all the Revs gear they wear. They didn't want their jackets getting ripped in a scuffle.

I posted that comment - I'm not an OW parent but a Revs one. I stand by the comment that athletes need to learn to control their temper. I grant this kid is young and has growing up to do - they all do. And grown adults have no business taunting teenagers. But kids have to learn to let things get under their skin. Life is full of aholes, unfortunately.

OW parents should also have told the guy to stop.

I agree. They actually should have stepped up first.

The player was getting yelled at the entire time he was on the field by the ref. He was not a team player and I did not see that great of technical ability. So, as he gets older he won't be able to use his size and the refs won't tolerate the bull. Why the Rev coaches are so selective as to whom gets punished or benched and who get rewarded is a coin toss. Some players just do what they want and others get benched for sneezing.

It's OW - that's unlikely. Pressure from other parents can be effective when implemented, but few parents are willing to confront another one. Clubs/coaches can and should step in when things get out of hand.

Is that what a DT is?

Seemed the other parents kinda agreed

I've had a few encounters with parents over the years (all know-it-all dads who thought it was cool to coach my kids or even yell at my kids from the sideline). I have no trouble calling them out - privately I say "show me your coaching credentials and go stand with the coach. Otherwise stop coaching my child". It usually shuts them up. But it isn't a fun thing to do and very few will do it. The "higher level" clubs we've been with have had a few screamers and the club usually will handle them, or the coach. Yes kids need to grow thick skins, but they also learn by example. Parents and coaches make a big difference
