Not the best spelling by me on post, the other factor that I think hurts DAP is that kids have to make a decision and DAP have to try to pick out plays at U14 who essentially will be great player 4 years down the line. Easier to do with girls but boys change so much in those four years.

Seems like there is good talent out their playing high school and club instead of DAP.
You can always pick out a few exception to the rule. Most if not all of the Rev's and Bolts are going D1. No other club is close.

Actually if you leave out the ISL kids, the breakdown goes:
          North 12
          South 3
          Central 3
          West 3

          So North is dominating.

As for central, the Tornaritis, Stoker, McCaffrey, Machado, and Fagundez level player seems to be missing lately. Don't see a lot a lot of chatter about this here, but very much so on other threads.

Is Booth a Blazer or Star? He is listed as both.

Absent from these lists are commitments to DII schools. Do these schools operate on different timelines? The Northeast 10 conference is in our backyard with the 2013 National Champion.

I suspect what we'll see is an ever greater concentration of talent at just a few top club teams. There is still plenty of talent not playing academy, but if they want to train at a high level and be seen by coaches they will need to chose a club carefully.

OP here. The D2 schools seem to move in after the D1/D3 kids are sorted out. SNHU seems to take until late spring to get the word out. I imagine they know earlier than that, but I can't find the info. If you know of anyone let me know.

You are assuming that every Bolt and Rev's player who has a D1 commit has posted their name up here, which is not the case. Many names are missing, probably intentionally

Booth, Brunner, Hilbrunner and Manoogian are all listed incorrectly as Blazers. They are all Stars players. An innocent or ignorant mistake, I'm sure...

Not sure want my kid's name listed given how everything is scrutinized on TS. In the process now and I'm seeing that discretion is the best route, even within our own club

The only ones who want to see commitments are the jealous parents who want to rip them and the clubs who want to sell based upon them. Best keep it to yourself.

Knowing the Blazers I highly doubt it. I hear that Landon may have played for them at some point. Beckham trained with FO last summer, I am sure of it

I think this is largely true. One D2 coach was very upfront in telling my kid that he didn't know what his incoming class would look like yet because they typically pick up a bunch of players once they realize their D1 aspirations are not met. And as compared with the premier academic D3 schools, the D2 schools typically have much higher acceptance rates, so there is not the pressing need to apply ED like at the NESCAC-type schools. But of course the schools can vary significantly as far as academics, availability of scholarships, soccer level. I understand SNHU has a full slate of scholarships, and they tend to bring in foreign talent. Merrimack is usually 2nd in that conference, and tends to rely more on local kids. I understand some of the schools in the conference have no scholarship money for soccer, so those programs out of necessity will be built differently than a school like SNHU.
