Who picked up the WU and Pioneers ODP players that left? Did they head east to a bigger club or just switch between those 2 clubs?

Pionees did not lose any ODP players. the player they lost this year went back to town soccer. They did not return a player last year, but she was not an ODP player either.

Lets not question the parental choices of others without knowing all the facts. I know this child and family. I can tell you that she is a talented player and above all, a great kid that will be missed by her team on and off the field. Her family chose a path they felt would suit her best and our entire team wishes her nothing but success!

Once again, people are making assumptions based on TS posts. WU changed its policy for the 2009-2010 season regarding playing up, and so the U10 players who were already playing up on TMs U11 team would have to play U11 again for the insted of moving with the team they'd started with. This caused hard feelign from the start but the players stayed with WU last year and played U11 again. This year, things cahnged and so some moved back and some moved on. End of story.
This year, the Pioneers lost two Ludlow players mid season because they decided they would just play for Ludlow D1. Again, a personal choice made by players and their families...not a judgement on their abilities on the field. The other Pioneer that didn't return to the team last fall played for an NEP team, but is now out for the spring due to injury. Again, she left the team for personal reasons not because she couldn't cut it. In fact, I have seen this player and she SHOULD have made ODP. Apparently, leaving EMs team didn't play in her favor come ODP selections.
Please stop judging 12 year old girls and their families based on TS gossip.

I think Pioneers also lost 1 ODP quality player last season not sure where she is now I think she went to an NEP team as I did not see her in MAPLE but not sure which one. Question out there is whether or not they can all come together on 1 team or just continue to spiral into fractured irrelevance.
She did try out for ODP, and MANY people from different teams were shocked that she didn't make the cut. We all just chalked it up to politics. General concensus...this was one clear case where not being chosen wasn't because she lacked talent.
Anyway, despite what the criticism of an earlier post, the poster'spoint is a good one. Choose the coaching style and club philosophy that best suits the individual player.
BTW, To the Pioneer parent who claimed that the "unregisterd" poster had an agenda...Are you the pot or the kettle? Did I miss your registration name?
