just look at nefc webpage- they are holding tryout for that age-group in only 2 locations, that looks like consolidation of the best players.

If you mean that choking is beating 2 quality opponents, a tie, and then holding a very nice Stars team to 1 goal after having played 4 games in about 5 hours with zero time off between the last game and the finals, then I guess it was a choke job. Myself I think you must not know the game, understand the game, or have bad blood with the organization.
