Just another black mark against ODP and the selection process as far as I am concerned. I thought she was going to play for WU but I guess not or maybe she was before she got hurt, who knows.

Is there a U12 Stars West team, I thought not.
You're right, ODP sucks and untill they start listening and taking seriously the scouting reports of moms to form the pool, then the selection process will forever be suspect.

[QUOTE=Unregistered;510243]Sorry but the fact that they chose Town soccer over Pioneers midway through the season speaks volumes. Sounds like WU and Pioneers both have issues. Can't those people out there just get along?[/QUOTE

Pioneers & WU are just polar opposites. The pioneers are just an aggressive club that relies on power and effort to acheive results, WU is more passive and the teams use more skill to acheive results. the parents for the Pioneers are like their club, loud and aggressive while WU are quieter and let the coaches coach. these clubs & parents just won't see eye to eye when they believe their club is doing correct.

I love that there is someone or maybe even multiple people in this thread that think Pioneers coaches or staff have the ear of ODP coaches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on, no one East of Amherst respects the Pioneers.

The player in question that was "wronged" by ODP is a decent player but a few people here are really inflating her talent level. She was bigger than most of her opposition and pushy, not overly skilled with the ball. Typical Pioneers player.

That and the mother of that girl is a NUT!

Better to have her move on then, they will ruin team chemistry wherever they go. Sadly most of the time the player is usually a great kid and knows Mom and Dad need serious help.

She'd be the top 1-3 player on any BLUE team.

The family of the player in question did what was right for their daughter. I agree with the previous poster about how much she will be missed. There is more to this story. You obviously don't know the family or the situation, or you wouldn't have made that statement. Very nice family, very nice, skilled player. End of story!

All I am saying is she is a a very nice kid and very good player but it is a bit of a stretch to be saying she would be the top 1-3 players for any blue team. ODP may have got it wrong, but she was mostly likely more on the cuff then they can want to hear. Again a very good player and would help any team, just don't get carried away.

Not better at all! Whomever posted that comment doesn't know this kid or her family at all! They were all liked very much by our entire team! Probably someone just trying to stir the pot.....don't believe it.

Hater! You must not know the family. Good people did what they felt was right for their kid. They are a nice family. Don't stoop to this level.

You are absurd. They are great people, lots of fun. You must be the nut.

Sorry not a nut, just someone who can only take someone else making up stories and talking about their child for so long. She drove everyone on that team nuts. Good luck to the parents on the U13 team that are stuck with her now.

They must want her. A U12 playing for a U13 regional team must be a great player so maybe some of the stories were actually true?

Keep telling yourself that. I know parents on that team and outside one or two of them the only person that wanted her is TM. Their numbers were low and team has some injury issues, otherwise she would not have been allowed to play on that team. Like I said, she is a very good player just not what the mom thinks.
