Why is there all this jealosy and hatred for the pioneers. Obviously they must be doing something right to be in the top 3, whatever their schedule has been. Their kick and run game must be pretty good Ha Ha.

You cannot compare the Blue with the orange division, sorry! We will see where Western ends up once they play some weaker teams going forward.
Everyone thinks BB's team will be last- I wouldn't discount them just yet either.
Stars are definitely the best team in this division, but we shall see once they play the Pride who ends up on top.

The U13 coach is the same way. Well, he teaches zero technique and relies on pure athleticism and hopes through conditioning his team will out last others. Both of their antics on the sidelines…they are less than desirable but if you don't like it find another club! If you are an opponent...its easy...you know what you are going to get so find a way to beat them.
With that being said, if you want your child to become a better person or grow into a responsible adult. It is your responsibility to find the coach/organization that you feel will help you achieve this. If it’s the beautiful game your looking for? Stay away…ha ha ha! Lets face it not many are going to play at the highest levels so try to have fun while it last, build some friendships and maybe get some of life valuable lessons in!

I know the Mass club scene well. He is a good motivator and plays to win every game. He knows he can't teach technique. As is the case for 90% of this organization! He knows he can't teach his players to play at the level of the other organizations technically so he tries to teach them to play hard, very direct and tries to capitalize on mistakes with pressure. There is nothing wrong with that. Do I agree and do I coach like that? Absolutely not, but that doesn't make him wrong just a different style of play. If every team played exactly the same this game would be boring. Its simple, some train robots others train free thinkers. Very few in all of US can find a good balance. The ones that do are very successful. It also takes a lot of support from the parents and tons of patience.

There are some programs in the state(Scorpions,Stars,Western,MPS) that try to teach soccer the correct way. They work on developing footwork, stategy, fundamentals ect.. Other clubs like the Pioneers teach terrible soccer. This is basically dumbing down our soccer. Those kids will just be kick and run players. This State needs dynamic players. don't get me wrong, there is also a need for players with speed and hustle. Just not entire teams built like that. So it's not OK for the "uncle Ed's of soccer" to teach them to be grinders. these kids are 11, develop them. It is probably a case that the coach has no coaching skill.

There are smaller clubs with outstanding coaches who are unable to draw the talented numbers necessary to compete with the behemoths, so they are constantly accused of poor coaching or development. Try working with a group of 7 and 8 yr olds for 3 or 4 years in an academy structure only to see the few talented ones get sucked up by the bigger clubs. Please stop denouncing the coaching of everybody who isn't working for stars or nefc.
