lol Federal investigations on Rudy Colludy were happening even when Barr was still in charge. His dealings with Russian/Ukrainians, probably illegal payments and undeclared income are some of charges he might be facing. Trump didn't give him a blanket pardon either. Rudy has I think $3B in defamation lawsuits too - then of course, there's the Borat movie :) . NY state is investigating Cuomo and there's plenty of folk in NY that would love to see him taken down, on both sides. Even if he manages to stay in office he won't run again.

When over 89% of the dead people from COVID are over 65, I really don't it is a high risk situation. At least not to shut down the whole economy and bankrupt people, pull kids out of school and stunt their growth and make people where masks. Nationally, people over 65 make up 16% of the population and represent 80% of all deaths from COVID. Seems bad, but not far off the 75% they make up of all deaths. Put in perspective, that doesn't seem like impending doom! Democrats like to quote science.....I like to quote math!

States are making their own calls and opening a lot back up (even here in blue CT), people are getting vaccinated - the push now is to get as many vax'd as possible before the more contagious variants spike numbers back up again, but even if they do spike many governors will not shut down again. The most vulnerable people are mostly done, so if cases go up hospitalizations shouldn't rise at nearly the same pace because it will be healthier young people.
