You can play with data on this: https://www.gasbuddy.com/charts

if you compare Hartford CT gas prices May 2021 to May 2020 yes there is a full 1$ difference - $1.90 to $3.01. But when you graph it out you see May was literally the lowest point for prices in the last two years. Compare this point $3.01 to Fall of 2019 about $2.60, and us April 2021 (before Colonial impact) it was about $2.80 vs $2.60 before. Graph it out for three yeras and today's prices are the same as multiple prior prices.

what natural disaster affected the whole country at once? what war or natural disaster shut down the economy for 8+ months? and which POTUS was in office?

you have zero idea what the F you are talking about
All you do is make excuses about why it was easier for administrations other than Trump’s to succeed.

The buck stops on POTUS’s desk! Trump, for example, ran on the platform that he was an accomplished outsider and would do better.

We were to get sick of “winning” he would be so effective.

Now <sniff> all you can offer is the lame excuse that Trump just wasn’t up to handling the COVID crisis as well as Biden is now. You hide behind that to justify the Trump recession, which was here BEFORE the pandemic.

Any excuse in a storm I guess ….the weak MO of cons ….

            They had the WH
            They has the House
            They had the Senate

And accomplished so much that they lost them ALL in one cycle! Now THAT is piss poor performance

Love the small ball you play. So Trump inherited an unemployment rate under 5% from Obama, it goes down another 1% and you claim credit?

Fine. Then you also get credit for leaving office with a higher unemployment rate than inherited. Also, too, for two annual deficits in excess of a trillion BEFORE the pandemic.

Credit is due for that as well 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

But I’d like to talk about what the insurrectionist’s lawyer said about insurrectionists, which applies also to TS cons I think ….here it is

Watkins, the “Q Shaman” Jacob Chansley’s attorney, said his client had Asperger’s syndrome and indicated that Chansley’s mental state — and the impact of Trump’s “propaganda” efforts — would play a role in his case.

“A lot of these defendants — and I’m going to use this colloquial term, perhaps disrespectfully — but they’re all ****ing short-bus people,” Watkins told TPM. “These are people with brain damage, they’re f*cking retarded, they’re on the goddamn spectrum.”

“But they’re our brothers, our sisters, our neighbors, our coworkers — they’re part of our country. These aren’t bad people, they don’t have prior criminal history. F*ck, they were subjected to four-plus years of goddamn propaganda the likes of which the world has not seen since ****ing Hitler.”
There ^^^^ you go cons. Q anon shamans lawyer is talking about YOU.”

Never hear the term “short bus people” before

Be proud cons ! The insurrectionists are going to be blaming Trump for inspiring their crimes.

Can’t buy negative publicity like that. The dem campaign ads will write themselves!

So you proved my point. Tried to explain it away based on lowest point last year and on Colonial this year...you sound like Joe Biden. Always has an excuse. Year over year, it is up over a dollar. Maybe next month year over year it will be lower. But facts today are facts today.

Thanks for demonstrating how little you know about economics and economic trends...much more difficult to hold it down than to get it down...economies are cyclical which is why if these recent trends continue we will be in trouble...lmao that even dem governors are now conceding that extra fed money for unemployment is a job killer

on a per capita basis TX is doing about the same as other states. Cases are dropping dramatically everywhere.

6.1 % unemployment for April is nothing to
Get your panties in a bunch over, especially since blue states are generally doing better

The unemployment rate in NH for April was 2.8%, but cons say “the sky is falling?”

                              You guys are nuts

One year ago under the Trump regime unemployment was in the mid teens. Was 7.9% I think just before election. Now, even after a winter COVID surge, it is lower.

                              Thank you 🙏 Joe Biden

lmao that even dem governors are now conceding that extra fed money for unemployment is a job killer
Please name them. All of them since I can’t find that plural dem Govs are doing that

I do see dem governors saying this

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Cutting off the extra federal payments going to unemployed Kentuckians would hurt the state’s economy as it recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic, Gov. Andy Beshear said Monday.

The Democratic governor said he’s willing to consider ending the weekly $300 federal unemployment payment eventually but quickly added: “That doesn’t mean we will.” The extra money is set to expire in September.
                              ??????

I do see many GQP governors doing it though, generally in states that once had slaves. They depend on hourly wages that amount to slave labor

                              Thanks so much for playing

A one day/selective data point fact vs a trend. The latter matters far more than the former.
