- There's more tapes out there with more of the same and worse
- Cohen knows other Trump crimes and wrong doings
- other people will flip
- He's on record denying these allegations
- It will be played during mid term elections and in presidential primaries/election... if he gets there

Really, none of this matters. If a tape with Trump saying "I like to grab them by the puzzy" a month before the election didn't budge the electorate you think paying off a porn star (who just got arrested) is going to shake things up. Yeah, the story is that the "puzzy" statement got Trump a lot of votes from women in red states, because men in red states are far less than satisfying. In fact, studies show Republicans are notably less virile than the average male population.

He used to brag that he recorded all his conversations with Trump. There's much more material and the FBI has over 2M pieces of evidence in their hands. In addition to your list, Trump will also care because it makes him look bad. His ego is so fragile. And every time this stuff comes up I'm sure Melania makes his life hell.

Trump could pardon Cohen. That requires Cohen be found or plead guilty, and then the sentence is vacated. But, since Cohen is not threatened with sanction, he can't plead the 5th and will have to honestly answer all related questions in court, which wouldn't help the Grabber-in-Chief one bit.

His act is running out of steam. He's made many more missteps since pu-ssygate of greater importance. Yes his base will forever remain loyal, but his victory margin was micro-thin and all it takes is losing a few independents. People are also fed up with the GOP congress even among GOP voters. The message that voting matters is finally getting through to people. His base is fired up, but so is the rest of the US. Trump can only pardon at the federal level. If charges are filed by a state's attorney general, no pardon. Plus, a pardon comes after a conviction. Cohen hasn't even been charged with anything - yet. He's clearly very, very nervous hence his world apology tour. He's also complained to close friends he is quickly running out of money for his defense lawyers.

That could be a problem for Trump if it were true but a pardon may be granted before or after conviction for the crime.
