The message that voting matters is finally getting through to people. His base is fired up, but so is the rest of the US. Example: big surge in registration of first time and young voters in FL https://www.miamiherald.com/news/pol...215169905.html
Dude really? Do you read your own articles?

"The total number of young people registering to vote also went up. From Dec. 1, 2017, to Feb. 14, 2018, 27,789 18- 29-year-olds registered in Florida, and between Feb. 14 and April 30, 39,218 young people registered, according to TargetSmart. The 11,429 more voters that registered represent a 41 percent increase."

11,429 voters represents this big surge? More than 9 million Floridians voted in the last election.

Yet the gap between HRC and Trump was only 113,000 votes. Doesn't take much to flip a few a state that close. Trump's family separation policy hasn't done him any favors with FL's Hispanic population either.

        Bus tire tracks....

American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp says Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats has only himself to blame for getting caught off guard by President Trump‘s White House invitation to Vladimir Putin.

When the America’s intel honcho gave an interview yesterday to Andrea Mitchell, he seemed amazingly surprised to hear that Trump offered to host his Russian counterpart later this year. This happened as Trump continues to face a political firestorm for accepting Putin’s denial of the idea that Russia interfered with the 2016 election.

You might recall, Coats released a statement after Trump’s press conference, rebuking the president and saying the American intelligence community stands by their assessment despite what Putin says.

As Schlapp defended Trump’s diplomatic conduct in a spirited Friday interview with NBC’s Peter Alexander, he said its all on Coats if the DNI chief was out of the loop regarding Trump’s invite to Putin.

“If you’re going to give a speech at Aspen, maybe you ought to call the national security adviser, check in with the White House,” said Schlapp. “He wasn’t prepped for the interview. That’s his own fault…The Cabinet has an obligation to stay hooked up with the President.”

but his job creation has done wonders for him in the hispanic community- and people vote selfishly, they vote their pocketbook, they vote their family
also if they are voting they are legal and probably had to go thru a difficult immigration process and may not be too keen on people not going thru what they went thru
you guys thought he wouldnt get one Hispanic vote before the election- he did better than expected

i think you guys miss on the ego is frail stuff- he has been hammered every day since he won the primary in the most public of ways- and he still presses on
you guys have been wrong on everything with this guy

Please, that's peanuts, as the poster said we didn't vote for him because he's a nice guy.
Again, he won because Russians hacked votes in a few states.

you can always plead the fifth its a constitutional right not a conditional one
if he takes a deal thats off the table

Dude, you don't know what you're talking about. First, southern Florida, particularly Miami, is mostly Cuban. Cuban's are primarily republican for many reasons unrelated to immigration. Cuban's have historically been granted automatic asylum by the US government until the Obama years. Historically, those that tried escaping came in legally either via legitimate asylum status or through an arduous immigration process from both sides. If you ask, most Cubans would agree they should deport those crossing the Mexican boarder illegally because they had to go through hell to do the right way. Yes there were a couple cases, the Mariel Boat lift being one, where many attempted to come in illegally, although that was Castro for the most part screwing the US government and opening up his prisons.

But, I don't mean to rap on Obama. Not my cup of tea politically, but don't hate the man and an important president in our time. It's all irrelevant though. We don't vote on morality, because everyone sets the bar differently.
and billy dropped the bar low- after that all bets were off

                            The New Normal

Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle is planning to leave the network to campaign for the 2018 midterm elections with her reported boyfriend Donald Trump Jr., CNN reported Friday.

Guilfoyle will likely join America First Politics, a pro-Trump nonprofit, according to the network. It's not known when she's planning on leaving Fox News.

A spokesman for Trump Jr. tweeted Friday that Guilfoyle joining Trump Jr. on the campaign trail "is a win for the entire GOP."

"Kim is one of the most influential voices in the #MAGA movement and knows how to light up a crowd," the spokesman, Andrew Surabian, tweeted.
