or maybe the russians already have them ;)
When did the "audit" end? Lol. That was more BS.

Only if "smart" means deceiving his fan base. He very well may have legitimately paid all his taxes, but there's much more embarrassing information in there. If his returns came out it would show he isn't as rich as he claims and that he doesn't donate big bucks to charities like he claims. It may or may not reveal foreign debts that raise questions. His ego is tremendous but also very fragile. It's not doubt one of the reasons he wouldn't speak out against Putin - it puts more doubt into how he got elected and that he lost the popular vote.

Oh the irony that Tricky Dick started the tradition of sitting presidents releasing their returns

"In 1973, while under audit and amid a controversy over his personal taxes, Nixon released returns dating back to when he took office in 1969. The scandal led to one of Nixon's most famous quotes. "People have got to know whether or not their president is a crook," Nixon told reporters in November 1973. "Well, I am not a crook. "Since Nixon, every president has released tax returns, except for Gerald Ford, who instead made public a decade's worth of summary data about his federal taxes. I read somewhere that presidents' tax returns go directly into a safe, like in the office of the IRS director. They are certainly not in the 'general population' and I bet snagging a copy would be difficult.

              We can dream, though!

24 hours later, Trump claims he misspoke in Helsinki, meant to say Russia did have reason to meddle in election
The president also said he backed the U.S. intelligence community's assessment that Moscow interfered in his 2016 race against Hillary Clinton.

he has only filed 1 tax return as president- but as a regular citizen he has the same right to privacy as you
should i be able to access your tax returns because i just want to? no
the IRS and they are as crooked at the top as any other agency, I am sure some Lois Lerner type director has snuck a peek and im sure he has been audited numerous times like every other big businessman
if they had something it would have come out years ago
