I can’t help but think how different the reaction would be if President Obama intervened in a case and decided to cut a prison sentence short. Hypothetically speaking, let’s say someone was convicted of espionage—spying—and had his 35-year sentence reduced to six years by President Obama. Oh, wait, no need to speak in hypotheticals—that happened. See Chelsea Manning.

Did he intervene before the judge had issued a sentence ? Or was the commutation done well after?

It matters. Here’s why. Stone was convicted by a jury. Citizens. Unanimous votes on was it 7 or 9 charges ?

But now Trump fires the supervising prosecutor and her team of 4 resign before the judge gets paperwork.

Let me try and explain. It is frustrating when you think you are right, but no one listens to you. It is Disturbing to lose all the time. It is frustrating to want change but not get it. It is heartbreaking when the leadership of your cause is weak and can not deliver on their rhetoric. You see the same behavior in children. They stomp their feet, scream, cry, use their fists. Eventually, some of those children learn how to be a more effective communicators and deal with adversity and they become republicans. The others become public school teachers and democrats, because it allows you the perceived authority to shove your message down others throats.
