The other thing his taxes would show is 1) he doesn't make nearly as much as he claims 2) he doesn't give to charities nearly as much as he claims. He doesn't want to be found out for the huckster that is, so he won't release himself unlike every other president and candidate has for decades.

He's smart not to. There hasn't been a president before him that probably has more complicated returns nor a president before him that has put more money in the IRS coffers. Whether good or bad MSM will spin it to some drama.

they also don't use "i'm being audited" as an excuse either. the irs said that is no reason to not release his taxes. have to wonder if he has a high level pal with the irs protecting him. the fact that at least some returns haven't been released (beyond that fake leak to msnbc) is kind of surprising in this day and age of sophisticated hacking - or even just a rogue employee going old-school and photocopying them.
