Those clueless Democrats are actually asking him to break the Law. They aren't qualified to even ask him any questions. Did they even know the Law exists ?

The American Taxpayer should NOT be paying for Public Housing for illegasl, when there are American citizens waiting for places to live.

That's the issue . Once again we see Democrats placing illegals as a protected class while American citizens can pound sand.

how hard could Housing be the guy can transplant brains
the housing problem in this country started in the 60s with urban planning and projects in the cities
put all the undesirables in one place rather than have them spread out in neighborhoods- problem is the neighborhoods were the soul of the cities- places like Flatbush and hells kitchen and little italy and Harlem- they took care of their own

Government knowing better than the people created huge centers of criminality all run by NYCHA
thats just NY its every big city

there is no more irrelevant post in the govt than surgeon general except maybe chuck E schumers job

Housing is a joke because the cities who actually are supposed to run housing havent taken care of anything for 4 decades- now they want to know why boilers that are 20 years past lifespan are crapping out

Earlier this week it was announced Trump was pardoning a GOP donor who wrote a flattering book about Trump. Now he's pushing (still non existent) border wall construction to the firm of another big donor, seeming to forget there are bid procedures for government contracts. He's created the biggest swamp in US history and every week it just gets swampier. ‘He always brings them up’: Trump tries to steer border wall deal to North Dakota firm

                        Here's a " tough question "

Appearing before the House Financial Services Committee on Tuesday, Carson was asked by freshman Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) if he believed substandard public housing conditions pose a risk to tenants’ physical, mental and emotional health if left unaddressed

That is a leading, grandstanding attention seeking question intended to gain political points in public. To ask that question of a man with the intellect, experience and achievements of the Doctor is part of the latest Dog and Pony Show by Democrats.

                        She worked for John Kerry

From 1992 to 1994, Pressley attended the College of General Studies at Boston University, but left school to take a full-time job at the Boston Marriott Copley Place to support her mother, who had lost her job. She took further courses at Boston University Metropolitan College, also known as MET.[6] [10]

After leaving Boston University, Pressley worked as a district representative for United States Representative Joseph P. Kennedy II, for whom she had interned during college.[6] The work included assisting constituents with Social Security claims and working with senior citizens and veterans and people with disabilities. Pressley became Kennedy's scheduler, then worked as constituency director, before becoming the political director and senior aide for Senator Kerry.[8]

During 2009, Pressley served as United States Senator John Kerry's (D-Mass.) political director, responsible for managing his relationships with elected officials at the city, state and federal level and with various community leaders.

The guy has been in the job two years. He still has little understanding of what his department does. No excuses, just incompetence. Dems are asking tough questions because the GOP won't.

I would ask that you line up every Democrat siting like a King and Queen on a Throne that were questioning the Doctor.

Ask them How many lives have YOU saved? What have you done in your life in relation to the SAVING of children's lives.

No respect for a man with his intellect his achievements , his contributions to humanity ?

Has anyone challenged his expertise as a surgeon or the good he has done in medicine?

What does his skills as a surgeon have to do with his ability to run HUD? How do those skills translate to the capabilities he must have to be successful in this role?

Why do you think an apple looks like an orange?

How pathetic is it that Trump, Giuliani and others are sharing doctored videos of the Speaker of the House trying to make her look impaired? That's 7th grade mean girls crap, not how the leader of the free world should behave. Elect a clown, get a circus.

                                From Jan.12 2017.

Carson, in remarks prepared for Jan 12 hearing before the Senate Banking, House and Urban Affairs Committee, talked about growing up in inner-city Detroit with a single mother who had a third-grade education. She worked numerous jobs to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table.

“I understand housing insecurity,” he said in the prepared testimony, and credited his mother with showing him the importance of perseverance and hard work.

Carson said he wants to help heal America’s divisiveness, and that the department could play a role. “I see HUD as part of the solution, helping ensure housing security and strong communities,” he said.

The soft-spoken Carson, grew up poor. He attended Yale University and the University of Michigan Medical School, and was the first African-American named as head of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore.

In 1987, at age 35, Carson pioneered surgery to separate twins joined at the back of the head. In 2013, he entered the national political spotlight when, during the National Prayer Breakfast, he railed against the modern welfare state. President Barack Obama was sitting just feet away.

Carson had said little publicly about affordable housing, homelessness and other HUD-related issues. Last summer, he criticized an Obama administration fair housing rule as government overreach.
