If it weren't for the electoral college I'd be breathing easy. But he still has his base in enough winnable states and the battleground states are always tough to call. fIf the Dems pick the wrong person (it's the Dems, so, you know) then they'll hand him another 4 years. I say that as a Democrat.

Nothing to worry about, Trump will win the electoral vote quite easily for two reasons:

1) all politicians (either rep. or dem.) secretly love TRUMP and want him as the POTUS. (they all look like angles compared to TRUMP). Image is everything to a politician.

2) The All Media is loving TRUMP: CNN, CBS, FOX, ABC are making $$$$$ selling stories and laughing all the way to the bank....this has been the best business boom mass media has ever had.

This entire political spectacle is entirely made up of smoke and mirrors and the sad thing is that there are millions of dumb_ss americans (yes like you) believing everything you read and hear.

Yeah he starts these discussions and the libs call him racist instead of debating the issues. The race card is played out. When you say areas of Baltimore are more dangerous than some of the countries the illegals are trying to escape this is a true statement (or maybe not true?). But libs refuse to show the facts where trump is wrong they just say he is a racist.

Libs are scared to debate facts. Everyone who says anything they don't agree with is just branded a racist. And they formed antifa as muscle to shut up the ones they can't intimidate by using the race card.

I am sure you will attack me too but I am not a trump defender, at least not everything. He never should have signed the budget, his spending is out of control, he is too thin skinned and should not be calling people names. He plays too much golf, is too cozy with Saudi Arabia and other issues.

But he did not collude with Russia as per vol1 of Mueller report, Vol 2 is a bunch of BS. He has done good renegotiating our economic relationship with China, Canada and Mexico. It looks like the tariff threat to Mexico has worked and got them to secure their side of the Mexican border (to some degree). Criminal justice reform was good and undid the racist policies set up by Biden.

So there is good and bad like all in life. Try opening your eyes to see what is wrong and what is right in the world and stop with everything is racist if you don't like how it sounds.

The real question is why did Trump choose to take on this Baltimore beating in the first place? And if you pay attention to anything about him, the reason is quite clear. Trump is simply getting "even" with Cummings because he doesn't like the work of that Oversight Committee and some of the comments that have come out of it and from Cummings.

So, he does what he always does. He makes it personal. He denigrates those who find fault with his policies to deflect the issue and find an advantage.

It's the stuff of school yard bullies. They posture, show all kinds of false bravado. They take credit for the efforts of others and blame those when things go wrong by their hand. They lie.

Our President's own words are enough to show you what his moral values are and how ethical a person he truly is at his core. If your child behaved as he does, you'd never put up with that. If your neighbor behaved as he does you'd have a problem with that. If you had a teacher in your kid's school who said these same things in the same way, you'd be looking to oust that teacher as fast as you could.

He's an amoral man. I think he has some mental issues myself. He doesn't truly stand for the people and if the economy wasn't in the shape it's in, you'd be all over him for what he says and does.

But then, with this huge explosion in debt that was just announced, perhaps we shall see what a Trumpian economy truly looks like over the next 18 months. My bet, when it goes sour, so will his chances of re-election.

He stands no chance of winning in Baltimore or just about any other major metro area. His comments also help reinforce stereotypes about Democrats, minorities and urban dwellers. References to rodents and infestations was a common theme with Hitler and Stalin when vilifying certain groups, especially immigrant minorities. It plays to his base and he thinks he can win with just his base. The numbers don't seem to add up currently, but as someone said the electoral college is the wild card. But it's a long way away from November 2020. Who the Democrats pick and where the economy goes will sway it one way or the other.

so PBS who did a documentary on the rats and rodent infestation in BALTIMORE is now working for Trump
this has nothing to do with Hitler it has to do with an American city with the murder rate of a war torn third world country and a sanitation problem to match. do 5 minutes of research and see who has been running Baltimore for decades and why the same people seem to always keep running it-yet it steadily declines in every positive measurable
