When do the protections under the Constitution kick in? In the alternative, when did we agree to rescind the constitution and become mere subjects to authority?

Iowa was adamant about not instituting a mask mandate. However, now that their hospitals are about to be overrun with patients dealing with covid the governor realized she was wrong and finally acknowledged a problem and instituted a mask mandate. Same thing happened in North Dakota. I dont understand why they have to wait until the projections are actually true to do the right thing. Normally people are allowed to be ignorant but once someone elses life is in your hand you have a moral obligation to do the right thing.

Getting back to sports...CIAC just postponed Winter sports until Mid January. My kid may drop basketball because he doesn't want to wear a mask and it's not his main sport anyway. I bet indoor arenas will have to really cut back on capacity, which means it's tough for club practices.

I'm sure your parents and/or grandparents are glad to know that you don't worry about them getting COVID since they are going to die shortly. Put that in their next birthday card, assuming they live long enough to get one.

If you ask most any of the elderly population they would rather shelter themselves than risk the consequences that are falling upon our youngest age groups...they do not WANT to die but understand that the risks they take are on them...that generation is not full of puzzies like you...I have no doubt that given the choice that your mom and dad would take the chance versus the mental health issue that your daughter is going through...they don't care that you will miss your mommy and daddy
