MC isn't a loss for OW. He was just another coach. OW is a shell of what it used to be. This upcoming season will be interesting. If it's another year like this once, there will be another exodus.

That daddy comment is the difference. A daddy coached team in aau hoops can get a kid great exposure if they can get 10 good players to join. Lots of good daddy coaches out there who played college sports. Pretending some Random guy with an English accent is a better coach just because he is paid is the comical part. Most other sports in the us do just fine with daddy coaches at the younger ages. And most regular premier coaches are likely players with very little coaching experience.

Also basketball is smart because town travel is very good. All the top aau players play town too. Town travel happens in the winter when a takes a break. Aau takes town travel season off. So kids who just play town travel in the winter get a solid product as well
