Won't ever happen, and it's not just political. The state absolutely does not need another ECNL club; there just isn't enough talent. They should have bought S+ when they had the chance. They would have done a better job than FSA has

Agreed. If you’re a serious female soccer player, there is no reason to choose Oakwood as a destination club. It’s bigger than political, although that is certainly a factor. The talent is spread thin as it is; adding a third ECNL club would be truly ridiculous.

OW 07’s and 08’s GAL teams are very weak. Both teams were middle to bottom of the pack in DA. If just a few girls left to ECNL... oh my.... they might both come in last in the weak GAL league!!

OW only has one decent team for GAL, the 05s. The rest are either below average or flat out stink.

lol even if I am gay, I certainly have hit a nerve from an OW parent. Can you disprove my point that OW is a middling soccer club????? Ok, I'm gay, now show me that OW have above average teams? Other than that 05 team how did the rest of the OW teams do? Any facts?

GAL's marketing needs some work, first the acronym GAL itself was a mistake, now they're using GAAP for some other acronym which is already well known as generally accepted accounting principles.

I never realized how far apart GAL's NE teams are till you look at the club map. Seems it will be difficult to pull off games this fall with the virus given the distance. ECNL NE much tighter.
