I know several instances where very good, eager new players were hung to dry.
Good luck to finding new players.

Not from OW but CFC parents really need to get a job. Nothing better to do but be an anonymous warrior trying to take down clubs for kids soccer. The problem is that theyll read this and use it as fuel to keep going. theyll never look at this and self reflect. keep making yourself feel better guys.

I wish you all would realize.
IT IS ALL THE SAME!
OW, CFC, FSA, BS, etc.
Top couple of players at each age group have a chance at meaningful playing time in college. Everyone else is just there for fun.
Every 5 years they might produce a pro prospect but they normally don’t stay long as they head to greener pastures of MLS DA.
If you expect anything other then a fun experience for your child you are suffering from delusions of grandeur.

Its also why CFC falls the hardest. They need to win at U9 at all expenses, including player development. By U11, they think their kid is playing at UNC and making the USWNT because they are winning every kickball game. But by U14, when they all have their periods and the kick ball game doesn't work, they are back to learning how to play the right way. By U16, its too late and all the parents aspirations of full ride college scholarships and USWNT go down the drain. Thats when all the parents freak out and are ready to kill themselves. Some kids give up soccer all together, others call CFC coaches to cheat their children into college.
