not stud players they need anyone that can at least pass backwards. they only have 8 players for their U17 team and are stretched so thin they have to play U15 players up two age brackets to U17 occasionally to be able to field a game day roster. they are doing the same with U16 players all on game days where U15, U16, U17s, U18s are playing. ow doesn't have enough players because they aren't attracting any from the rest of the state or even locally. gda is a disaster especially in the ne as case in point with ow. long island is even worse.

If you read the article in the paper on the RHAM girls you would have seen they will go to NPL team not GDA, their own words

OW isn't the only club taking advantage of the legal loophole in DA rules. As long as they aren't listed on an official DA roster it's all kosher. What Fury did - roster them and let them play HS at he same time? Not kosher. The only players that be officially waivered are private school kids and they aren't allowed to do HS and DA at the same time either. For something that is supposedly so terrible there sure are a lot of players playing high school soccer.

They will formally be placed on the NPL roster and available for all GDA games as well, likle everyone else at OW.

And the kids that were starting and paid for that trip and will lose their starting spots should return to HS soccer next year ... perhaps they will be capable of earning a varsity spot with another year.

NYSC has players listed on their roster that are playing high school at public schools but haven't yet played DA games. They also have others that are not listed (both public and private school) that will be back as soon as hs is over.

Like the poster said Fury shot themselves by letting players do both. You can put someone on the roster and say they're injured or whatever. Any player that comes in after HS is done has to get their 25% starts, which of course means some players who played all fall will lose PT. I find it hard to believe that the RHAM players would walk away from GDA unless they've decided not to play in college. It's certainly easy enough to "change their minds" and for OW to put them on DA rosters before December. It's all legal but also certainly hypocritical

And an NPL player may be added to roster of gda as a develpment player but there is a limit to how many games they can play
