Wow 15 seniors, that�s crazy. If he cares about goals, he�d actually likely score many more goals in HS (even on a young rebuilding team) than he would at BS. I don�t know the kid, so I can�t comment on his motivations or if he�ll be playing at the next level or not?

Yes it's easier to score goals in high school but you need somebody to give you assists

He scored 30+ goals and was all New England as a Junior. I believe the motivation for going to BS in Winter was D1 play.

Good to hear that he will be back

I have heard people talk about "parent led lawsuit" for months. However, cannot find a single parent who has admitted to being part of it. We have 2 families on our team who made very large donations and neither of them seemed bothered. If the suit is legit, perhaps you can point to an attorney, I am sure they would love to hear from other upset parents. If the suit is legit, you can offer other ways to prove it. I also suspect getting this in the news would help the suit... but that would mean a reporter would need PROOF. So either shut up about the suit or offer some evidence.

I'm a frustrated BS parent but at least when I post on here, I share facts.

So you spoke with everyone at the club? Even if you had, do you think they'd be honest and admit they were duped? There may or may not be a lawsuit, or even IRS rulings, but there definitely is not a facility and there definitely are families not at all happy about it.

From Westport thread: Lets get something straight here. First I'm an attorney in Connecticut. Second my son plays for a soccer club in the area, a rather famous one, and one that is also rather crappy. Its a DA club that I'm currently suing.

He's also said similar things on the BS thread

Or he doesn't have anything. By fall there's only a some D1 stragglers rolling in. D2 and especially D3 continues later.

Its also worth pointing out that 50% (at least) of most U-12 DA rosters are not playing DA at 15-16 years old. DA quality as its been posted, is a unique quality, and one that will snuff out the general quality premier player in time.

But this threat is about Beachside being BS.

And it IS fact that Beachside was looking for a merger, and it is FACT that Beachside has lost more players this year than in any other year since 1994.

The club is under seige, not from another club, but from themselves. This Club has been at it for 24 years, and in that time they've never been able to secure a facility, their performance is going downhill, coaching quality is deteriorating, and MK is detested by his peers in a way that can only be described as passionate hatred.

These are not recipes for success folks, and the future of this club is in a bad, very bad place.
