Lets do it. I am tired of hearing all the chirping with nothing to back it up. I do believe CFCU and FSA have a lot to lose if this were to ever happen. I also believe they would lose too.

It’s not a Part Time sport you do know that right? I’ve never heard of a kid quit and relax after getting a commitment, actually it’s the perfect time to work even harder and in order to get PT freshman year.

This downward spiral will continue for BS, the glory days are behind them and the top players all know it. The MLS clubs are too close to home, and an obvious better choice. In reality, MK knows this as well, hence his desperate flight north to Monroe. This move may or may not work for him, however it will most likely financially strap him. The Lower FC demographic will not follow this move north and the new demographic can't and won't throw cash at the club like MK has been accustomed to since inception. This won't end well.

NYCFC definitely a big impact on BSC, before that it was Red Bulls but the trip into NJ was a major hurdle to many parents.
Don't know how BSC will ever keep the elite players to stay, giving freebies wont cut it, sending them to YNT camps wont cut it, putting them up on the Website with accomplishments wont cut it.
Its a tough business to compete in, BSC , Oak will always be BSC, Oak and just accept the fact of being a feeding system.
Even MKs niece is playing for NYCFC Girls DA .

Big picture I think more kids are questioning the benefits of doing DA. Combine that with poor DA club choices and it can spiral downward easily. Why give up HS sports to go out and lose all the time? It just won't appeal to some players and BS needs volume

Moving to Monroe won't stop that phenomenon, and it will drive many families that form the bulk of the their business (premier teams, juniors) out.

EA/FCW DA was never a BSC threat/problem, kids that went to EA/FCW DA were kids that couldn't make BSC or were cut.
Now EA and FCW split, id say the days are numbered for FCW to survive, i suspect NYSC will somehow gobble up that DA lic in a year or two and then the East/NY corner will be pretty much set. Would be very bad news for BSC when that happens, they wouldn't get any more kids below Norwalk that's for sure.

BA has always raided EA for talent on its DAP teams. Once EA and FCW aligned that changed.
In fact if you look at the last years 16s EFCW had the better team/record. eFCW went to the playoffs, BS didn't. Several of those kids from CT went to RB and NYCFC. I bet Bs would have loved to have some of those CT EFCW kids on this years squad

Does anyone know if USSF pressured them to have their own site? I think there are other clubs that rent/have long term agreements. Seems like it will put a huge financial strain on the club (if it happens).
