On the NY site they are talking about a potential USSF organized merger between NYSC and FC Westchester with four turf fields. The combination would have full DAP for girls and boys and multiple premier teams all within miles of BS of CT

Wouldn't that be ironic considering that's how BS got their badge

If you look at the financials NYSC vs BS you will see the difference. On was/is stock pilling operational money for personal gain and capital project (dream). Other puts it's all back into operations. Service nonprofits should not be stockpiling cash of it's member fees.

Last couple year ~20% of operating budget has been squirreled away. Mean while teams are crammed 6+ on to a one field. Playing for Beachside is a significant investment in time and money for a lot families. Kids should not be short changed for the Greeks risky dream.

Yes, it’s right there on the tax forms...and on the fields when the players are crammed on to the one field.

Previously it was just funneled via extra expenses back to Mickey Kydes Inc. Covering costs for camps and town programs to increase margins on the for profit side.

Now Mickey is burning it on both ends.

Along with the North/South split. The old BS would never have done that. Now it's all hands on deck to generate cash for a facility that probably will never happen

Just because they "only need 1-2 players " doesn't mean the rosters are robust or quality. They'll combine the two girls age groups. Good luck getting graduating boys (2000) to play on a BS B tram their senior year.
