But NYSC and NYCFC are draining his lower FC clients, even more so with the Monroe facility - the mileage it isn't bad from say Darien by at rush hour it's going to take an hour easily x 3-4 days per week? No thanks. Much easier to do a slightly longer distance but traffic free counter commute.

Does NYSC have an Academy program and if not does it really matter? Either way it may be an interesting alternative to BS next year.

Got an email for their HS EDP team tryouts. In it:

            • College Scouting Network - 85% College placement rating for our Players

Works for me thanks. BS used to be the only game in town. Not so much anymore.

Mickey probably better off running town rec and travel programs. He already has Westport, Wilton and Greenwich. Why even build a facility?

NYSC doesn't have a full academy

They have U12- U15 boys and girls all ages. Expect full academy next few years sooner if "merger" happens.

NYSC has full academy status for girls (they are tied to SKY Blue in the NWSL)

For boys, they have u12, u13, u14 and u15. After u15 their top players move to NYCFC.

They are also well known for being very flexible with fees. Lots of families there get sizeable discounts.
Not as money hungry as certain neighboring clubs.

If you look at the financials NYSC vs BS you will see the difference. On was/is stock pilling operational money for personal gain and capital project (dream). Other puts it's all back into operations. Service nonprofits should not be stockpiling cash of it's member fees.

Last couple year ~20% of operating budget has been squirreled away. Mean while teams are crammed 6+ on to a one field. Playing for Beachside is a significant investment in time and money for a lot families. Kids should not be short changed for the Greeks risky dream.
