Marcus Tracy a perfect example of not to follow MKs advice then.
Didn't he do the Wake Forest thing and then become Pro? Well where is he now because I heard he's looking for a job as a soccer coach at Bsc!

Yeah right he trains at Wake a Forest for 4 years and who in their right would think he's gotten better doing that and then expect to play Pro ...really is that what your saying.

College soccer is HS on steroids. Coaches are about the wins, not development. If you really have a shot at going pro you do it as soon as you can, either here or abroad (preferred). The 18-22 years are important. Even JK in his short term in charge here has said the same (which is funny since his kid stayed to play in college). But if you're that good you probably have a very nice financial package which makes going pro here, with low MLS salaries and big risk, a tough choice.

Marcus Tracy hurt his knee when playing in Denmark ... he was never the same again. That impacted his career not his training at Wake Forest where he won the Herman award for best college soccer player

Can't remember the name but a top WF player left last year after one year to go pro. Ask Pullisic why he isn't playing in college. College soccer isn't like it is for football or basketball, that is not a place to Hine skills, marure, and develop under highly skilled coaches. Yes some leave college early but most players play 4 years then get drafted

                    Fact check ...

Jack Harrison left Wake Forest in 2015 after one year to become number one pick. Ian Harkes left Wake Forest last year after four years and winning Hermann trophy

Pulisic isn't playing college because his making $8 million a year and playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world as an 19 year old.

I have to agree. He was very physical, powerful and fast player. The wear and tear of College soccer had to have taken its toll. Had he gone pro at an earlier age maybe he could have changed his style and lasted longer?
