If an 06 Academy player is not 'old enough' to evaluate training and progress... what age in your opinion is?

I believe the point that the OP was making is that the kid has only been plàying futsal for two years or so ... the hyperbole in the posting made it sound like he has been playing futsal for a decade

you missed the point entirely. this thread is about training taking place inside a club charging $4k vs outside. The fact this 11 year old who is probably the most technically gifted player in the age group in CT has gotten a lot of his training outside of his club is a comment about the club and not the 11 year old.

The most technically gifted player in the age group in CT? What experience do you have to make that claim? Are you a coach? Have you seen all of the 11 year olds in the state? Have you seen even a fraction of them?

Shoutout to beachside for bringing in 2 new coaches for next year that both are coming from travel programs. That now makes all 4 coaches of the north and south branch from travel.

USSDA has a sense of humor

Well it seems that for the second year in a row, the USSDA administrators felt that it be necessary for Beachside SC to play New York SC, on the first match of the 2018/19 season.

The DA season opening match for these two clubs will take place at the NYSC brand new soccer turf field facility at Manhattanville College. The USSDA must be enjoying watching this regional competition unfold.

If anyone has heard anything about the 'TIERED' DA approach that is on the table to be voted on, perhaps there is EVIDENCE of this coming to fruition.

Beachside is expanding its PREMIER level teams, and NYSC is doing away with Premier level teams.

Speculation is currently rampant, but it sounds to me like NYSC is positioning itself to be the DA only club, and Beachside the AAA for them.

NYSCA DA fees its best to MLS

NOW we have a model by which the BEST players get promoted through a process.

All of this happening without the USSDA assistance, its the invisible hand at work.

This is to funny, I might actually go watch that given all the drama I've heard about at the 06 age group.

If that was true, beachside would be confirming that NYSC is the better and more advanced of the two clubs.
