Also likely two HS aged teams too.
Subsequently, boys DA was awarded (taken over from SCP) to BS and that is when the club lost the balance between the boys and girls programs. BS runs both DA and Premier teams for boys, and only Premier for girls. Whereas the boys DA offers the highest competitive level for boys, they never came up with a comparable high level offering for girls. Thus the problem and explanation for the lack of a prominent and stable girls program.
BS's messaging is dominated by boys DA as it is the crown jewel of their portfolio (rightly so). The remaining teams (boys and girls Premier) are BS Version 1.0 and are treated as such.

I note that both FSA and CFCU have added boys ECNL this year to counterbalance their girls ECNL offerings. OW too has added girls DA this year to counterbalance their boys DA. Good moves to keep both genders level at each respective club.

It wasn't a strategic move made independently but rather because of their commitments to ECNL. Furthermore the boys teams already existed and weren't started from scratch.
You could say the same thing about Girls DAP at OW. Although arguably they went through a stronger vetting process.
BS will have a much harder time elevating their girls and boys premier than any of the other clubs. BS faces cultural and soccer landscape impediments in elevating their girls and boys premier clubs.

OW, CFCU and FSA have the balance right as all offer high/equal level leagues for both genders.

Unfortunately, the parents like that their kids play BS but dislike Mickey to the point that nobody will consider a big check. There are also a number of parents who are senior marketing execs (including at least 2 CMOs of large companies) who can easily bring their company in for sponsorships.
