    Seattle United destroys local clubs

These guys are the worst. Stealing top players from local teams because they cant develop their own players. One of the local RCL clubs is planning to file for a grievance and will likely leave RCL. They claim that Seattle United actively communicates with players from their club to poach them away during tryouts. It’s a disgusting practice and needs to stop.

They have full rights to communicate with any players during tryouts, what are you blabbing on about? If players feel SU will better develop them, why should "local clubs" have any say where the player goes?

The fact that there are recruiting rules is idiotic. Are there any other youth sports that have this ?

All proper football academies in England scout for good players to improve their training environment. You don't own the payers your kid plays rec soccer with, so don't cry if those players what a more competitive training environment.

What make you think those players are not going to be valued as SU?

Just looked at the language of the recruiting rule and it hasn't changed. If the player reaches out to the club they want to play for and initiates the conversation, that's fair game provided the other clauses of the rule are adhered to. If the club initiates the conversation by reaching out to the player first, that's a violation.

How many clubs are poaching do you think? They want to suck up all the decent players, even if they are marginal so the other clubs no longer have access.

Stop this nonsense. The season is over, the player is NOT REGISTERED with any club during tryouts, thus no RCL rules apply.
