It's too bad these posts always dissolve into put-down contests. So lame. Yes the soccer culture is difficult in OR. There are not many options and when the landscape changes there's good and bad in it. If you don't like it, who cares? Don't put your kid in that program. If you feel the need to comment, why not be objective so that people might consider your opinions? So lame.

Totally agree with this. I came to this forum looking for information, but I've been amazed by how immature the discourse is. Most of our kids show greater integrity than that shown in many of these threads/posts that presumably are written by adults.

Coming here for information is like going down to a shady bar in Gresham and looking for a wife by getting phone numbers off the bathroom stall wall.
Anonymous chat boards don't bring out the best in people.

Results from the weekend
While the ECNL and OYSA were unable to play due to snow the Super Duper League was able to play its full schedule in its under ground lair that only the your Super Duper League eye scan will allow you to enter. All parents received a hot beverage of their choice. All the games ended in a tie, that way everyone is super duper.
Have a super duper day.

Coming to a city near you the Girls Supper Duper League, the GSDL (catchy isn't it)
In this new league there will be no home games to ensure more travel and cost.
These additional fees will ensure an exclusion group. No longer will the OYSA'ers GDA'ers or even the ECNL'ers will be able to player our members. We will be able to claim dormancy over every league in the country.
Player profile, no less than a dual parent 6 figure income with a parents willing to spend 35% of the families disposable income on soccer.
Oh and what happened to Laura Schott? Is she out of Thorns now too?

Just because something is a notch down from ECNL, doesn’t mean it can’t be a good thing for many players.
