75% of pac 12 players are either ECNL or GDA. There are exceptions and that is awesome. However best way to get on and play in the toughest conference for girls soccer is to play the best competition at the younger ages and show you can compete. I think if you show well in OYSA type situation you can walk on and give pac 12 a shot. If you can make team and get time then maybe money comes later...

American girls come from area clubs--what league the club plays in is not relevant, unless you are trying to pimp a league over a club. Which makes sense in bass ackward Oregon.
Clubs have played in USYS since the 90's til present, US Club Soccer has clubs that came from the USYS, still the same club just a different parent association.
The Club always trumps the league.
Unless of course you are trying to a pimp a league in Oregon since the college all know the club sucks. Same as it ever was.

If I had a dollar for every lie told about Oregon teams playing in the ECNL I’d be rich.
Probably why no one trusts the clubs that are selling it. In Oregon it doesn’t matter what league you are in because it’s pretty comical when a kid spends 40k for ECNL and can’t make a college team. CU has a lot of those. Fc Portland has even more. Thorns don’t even have college commits that we’re developed by them.
CU kid plays ECNL goes to OSU and has to transfer out because by junior year she wasn’t playing. Meanwhile westside kid goes to OSU and is playing a lot.
That story is all too common from Oregon.

Facts
Let’s make a list each year of the kids from CU and fc Portland that don’t play in college or aren’t playing for their college team and riding the bench.
The list is long. Starting at 2000 birth year.
I can tell you right now both teams average around 9-10 kids from each team per year. And some years it’s worse.
But don’t expect the lying sellers to tell you this.

2001 birth year fc Portland ECNL lost to 3 OYSA teams
2002 gps, Vancouver, eastside all out committed fc Portland and CU (had a lot of kids quit)
Just the facts.

That same CU team didn’t score more than 4 goals all season and got out committed by OYSA team.
What do you think is going to heppen when these mediocre Oregon girls teams have to lose 8-0 every game or even worse play some other mediocre team under the guise of thinking they are good.
It’s all a scam.

Tryout Season Is Here
Scam this scam that. They don't commit more players. They don't develop better players. OYSA players do just as well. ECNL coaches are lying to you. No other coaches lie. Some once in a blue moon OYSA super team out-committed one ECNL team one year. The ECNL girls quit in college but OYSA girls don't. OYSA players do better un college. Playing in a tougher league won't make you better in the eyes of college coaches.
Why would someone write those posts? Are THEY now the ones selling? What are they selling? Why are they selling now?
Its time for tryouts.
Please don't leave me little Suzie. Please stay with my club. I am begging you. FC is not better. CU is not better. Thorns are not better. Stay.....
