Haha, how ironic- OPFC, who has talked sh1t about and bashed westside, is now their biggest fans...

OPFC has talked sh!t about Westside? I am pretty sure that is not the case. Why would they?

OPFC games against Westside and FC for that matter are quite relaxed now.

On the other hand, against UPDX last night it was very salty on the sidelines. Pretty sure one of the UPDX moms was drunk and looking to pick a fight. I feel sorry for the other parents. Must be awful being associated with that type of behavior.

1-1 tie for CFC and Westside. OPFC wins NLNC (I think).

              Your recap:

Weather was much more pleasant for this one than last night.

This was a back and forth game. Capital had the better of things in the first half, as their physicality bothered Westside early on. Still, they were kept out of the net for most of the half as the defense held; even though they had the better of possession. With about ten minutes left, CFC got loose on a counterattack after a midfield tackle, caught the defense a bit out of position, and worked the ball to TO in the box who fired it home. Capital with a 1-0 lead at the half.

Westside generally had the better of possession in the second half, as they started to press more effectively, and kept the ball in the Capital end for much more of the second frame. Still, nothing went until a through ball was played to HDN on the right side, who slotted it past the keeper for the equalizer. Both sides had numerous chances in the final ten minutes (and both sides could have been awarded a penalty after dodgy tackles in the box, but none were called on either team), but no additional goals were scored and, like several weeks ago, the result was a 1-1 draw. Unlike the prior meeting, this one was decided on the field at least.

WT finishes its NWNL play tomorrow against UPDX; CFC reportedly has a make-up game with OPFC, though with their failure to get all three points against Westside, that match might be moot.

There was a lot more sh1t-talking a few years ago, especially back when Jaime was coaching Copa. These days, both sidelines have been pretty chill in the past two meetings, even though both were lopsided matches (one for each team).

Everyone hates UPDX these days, hating Westside seems to be a bit passe. :)

Copa Dad said it best last year, THOSE parents are gone. The Westside parent sideline is totes chill and respectful. UPDX has some yahoo's (no doubt ex TA parents) who truly appear to not have a clue about the game, but they also have some really good parents. For me, it is ADF and Capital. Thise parent groups are....something else.

Updx and Adf have the most delusional and gullible parents. Coaches wet dream.

Capital parents are the worst, most obnoxious, rude and clueless group out there. Could be reality TV.

I’m sure the sidelines at Snyder Park while they battle it out with Cuervos will be lively this morning.

Haven't had any problems with them this season. Of course, this year I haven't seen the one parent ("blonde beaver") that has previously approached and gotten into arguments with our sideline in the past.

Last night I mainly heard respectful cheering for their side (mostly in Spanish), and a bit of griping about the referee (mostly in English), but nothing at all out of line, and no negative interactions with our parent group at all.

Who are you? I noticed it’s easy for you to make comments about people. May I ask what team you represent?

Who are you? You can easily call people out and make comments about people.. I’m sure that you are so far above people that you can just say things and think it’s fine. At least there are a few people willing to stand up to people like you when your spouting out hate speech about other cultures. What team do you represent?

Have never had any problems with the Capital Parents. In fact, quite the opposite. As to pointing out particular people, not cool. I am fairly certain that you are somebody that others would readily identify as being a cancer at matches. Focus on the game. We are all there for the same reason, to watch our kids play, compete, learn and grow. Close your moth, open your eyes and learn.
