On the other hand, against UPDX last night it was very salty on the sidelines. Pretty sure one of the UPDX moms was drunk and looking to pick a fight. I feel sorry for the other parents. Must be awful being associated with that type of behavior.

However, if Washington Rush has concesed the rest of their games, how will they handle the games already played? For example, goal differential? Akso, if Westside beats CFC today, isn't it over anyways?

Weather was much more pleasant for this one than last night.
This was a back and forth game. Capital had the better of things in the first half, as their physicality bothered Westside early on. Still, they were kept out of the net for most of the half as the defense held; even though they had the better of possession. With about ten minutes left, CFC got loose on a counterattack after a midfield tackle, caught the defense a bit out of position, and worked the ball to TO in the box who fired it home. Capital with a 1-0 lead at the half.
Westside generally had the better of possession in the second half, as they started to press more effectively, and kept the ball in the Capital end for much more of the second frame. Still, nothing went until a through ball was played to HDN on the right side, who slotted it past the keeper for the equalizer. Both sides had numerous chances in the final ten minutes (and both sides could have been awarded a penalty after dodgy tackles in the box, but none were called on either team), but no additional goals were scored and, like several weeks ago, the result was a 1-1 draw. Unlike the prior meeting, this one was decided on the field at least.
WT finishes its NWNL play tomorrow against UPDX; CFC reportedly has a make-up game with OPFC, though with their failure to get all three points against Westside, that match might be moot.

Everyone hates UPDX these days, hating Westside seems to be a bit passe. :)

Thise parent groups are....something else.

Last night I mainly heard respectful cheering for their side (mostly in Spanish), and a bit of griping about the referee (mostly in English), but nothing at all out of line, and no negative interactions with our parent group at all.

Calling out people
Who are you? I noticed it’s easy for you to make comments about people. May I ask what team you represent?
