I am pretty sure the question about positions referred to the outdoor game not futsal, get up to speed vantucky the GED level education is showing....

Yeah, the first statement had to do with where the leading scorers played, the follow-up was that 3 players on the list could be wiped out due to the fact that their teams didn't play futsal. Going from there the thread was predominantly futsal and so I am guessing that the question was geared toward futsal but if I were wrong, it wouldn't be due to a lack of education or intellect. Given that you like to disparage those north of the Columbia without merit and mostly being unprovoked, I am guessing that you are either the youngest of a large family and were picked on and now have to use message boards to lash out. Could be that you are concerned that your modest intelligence makes you inferior, or I am guessing, you are just a douche. Probably the combo of the three but the good news is that you continually look like an ass-hat so continue to spew your nonsense.

I believe the reason parents are talking about futsal right now instead of futbol, is because that is what the clubs are playing during the winter. Just wait a month and you will get your soccer back.

First, no one talks about boys soccer on TS, so that's the first sign you people are idiots. Second, that you have to come on here and talk about futsol between fall and spring seasons speaks volumes about your lack of having a life. I really feel sorry for your boys, they were losers in the genetics lottery. And to cut of the "but you are on here so you are the real loser" type comments, I happened in here to see what is being discussed in a thread about boys, much less a thread with hundreds of comments. Oregon soccer is in way worse shape than anyone can fathom.

I guess we should all give up and tell the kids to play basketball instead. The state has produced its share of NBA talent, after all--from Green to Ainge to Brandon to Stoudamire to Love. And for a period back in the 80s and 90s, Oregon freaking DOMINATED girls' hoops nationally.

Having played both, I love the game. It's been a sport of choice around the world and its growing extremely fast among youth soccer clubs. U.S. Soccer even has a national ID camp.

My kids did both and had a great life then and moving forward. We camped, we traveled, and we had a lot of soccer, futsal, track and swim teams in our lives. -All were choices my kids made. One also was in a band, and the other loved her school events. Both had plenty of time with friends. Positive memories, academic success, with learned skills of time management and discipline. No need to judge others for what they choose to do. It is a choice.

No one said futsal is bad. It's that you morons are on here talking about it is what is sad. Most of the teams are "coached" by dads. I say "coached" because what they are doing is running kids on and off the field, not coaching.
