Why did BSC and Eastside only enter one team each? Low turn out because so many kids doing other sports? If not they must have huge benches with kids only playing about ten minutes a game. And only four games in this league.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostWell, yes and no. Washington Timbers, Crossfire & FC Portland all entered two teams into the DA league (supposedly evenly split up). Not to take anything away from Eastside, because that is a good thing to build their confidence. It appears that all games were very close with the exception of FCP Navy vs Crossfire Blue! I wasn't here, but let me guess, FCP did not divide their two teams up evenly right?
In true FCP fashion, they wanted to WIN, so they probably put all their best boys one one team!
No futsal practice. Just came back from a couple of weeks off. Not trying to blow anyone out of the water. You don’t know FC. In fact, I’d be willing to venture that you don’t know jack shirt about much else, either.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostPlease clarify. I don’t believe WA Timbers “sent” this player to Spain. They have become a feeder account for this overseas camp. Parents buy into the fantasy of little Johnny making it in Europe and spend about $20k when all is said and done for a three month soccer vacation in Spain. Do they get paid referral fees when the players go over? It’s a great camp experience but pales in comparison to year long international programs where youth players are actually signed at clubs and not paying enormous fees for the training and education because they are good.

Teams were set up to be even. We had Big Pink in goal for both games because the other gk was injured. I believe one other kid came down with the flu, so we had one field player play both games as well.
I imagine your team was also off a few weeks and were just a little rusty in the first futsal game of the year. No need to worry about the shellacking, wasn’t our intent, aren’t looking at the standings.
The only domination that you really should be concerned about is the evisceration that you receive from me each time you post something ludicrous. Donkey.

Maybe you can talk to the refs. The kid has played in many games, officiated by many different refs. Perhaps you can get them all to apply a different set of rules to him since he is big (or whatever other bias you might Harbour against him). I mean, it just doesn’t seem fair, does it, that almost every ref lets him not play soccer or futsal, adrift of the rules of the game.
Yeah, so quit yer whining and offer up a solution to your problem.

Trust me, FC did nothing out of the ordinary. They were just better. Crossfire was flat, and stagnant. Also, the kid somebody referenced about "pushing kids out of the way" he did not play. Somebody else said that Crossfire has never been good at futsal, and I would have to agree. We are new to the club, but based on what I saw, I would have to say that is true.
