Why did BSC and Eastside only enter one team each? Low turn out because so many kids doing other sports? If not they must have huge benches with kids only playing about ten minutes a game. And only four games in this league.

WaTimb have sent kids to TOVO the past couple of years. The 06 is an excellent player and took the opportunity to train in an environment that you do not see stateside. Regardless of cost I'm sure that any kid would benefit skill-wise but more importantly culturally. Now that he is back he will only improve an already strong team. He's a great kid with parents that I admire. He is no question a top 06 and can compete with the best 05's. All of the haters sound like troll a-holes that need to go hang on some 7th grade message board so they can match their maturity level.

yes, Eastside came out strong. The Washington Timbers took a awhile to to get their bearings as they haven't played Futsal since last winter. After giving up an early lead they came back with a vengeance but were unable to finish the Eastside team off. Eastside has some great kids and I was glad to see them gain some confidence. From what I understand the same thing happened with the BSC vs the other WaTimb team. Timbers gave up an early lead and then had a feverish comeback. Kudos to both BSC and Eastside. WaTimb split their roster talent-wise and there is no overlapping of players.

Not to take anything away from Eastside, because that is a good thing to build their confidence. It appears that all games were very close with the exception of FCP Navy vs Crossfire Blue! I wasn't here, but let me guess, FCP did not divide their two teams up evenly right?
In true FCP fashion, they wanted to WIN, so they probably put all their best boys one one team!
You are a complete buffoon! FC couldn’t give a rip about winning a futsal game in January.
No futsal practice. Just came back from a couple of weeks off. Not trying to blow anyone out of the water. You don’t know FC. In fact, I’d be willing to venture that you don’t know jack shirt about much else, either.

I find this post accurate and funny on multiple levels.

Please clarify. I don’t believe WA Timbers “sent” this player to Spain. They have become a feeder account for this overseas camp. Parents buy into the fantasy of little Johnny making it in Europe and spend about $20k when all is said and done for a three month soccer vacation in Spain. Do they get paid referral fees when the players go over? It’s a great camp experience but pales in comparison to year long international programs where youth players are actually signed at clubs and not paying enormous fees for the training and education because they are good.

He attended the TOVO academy with the WA Timbers. That relationship seems to have opened the opportunity to go over there and train individually with their Academy.

Ok FCP parent, let us know how it went then. A 9-3 domination seems like there is something going on. Maybe it was the overlapping players like another person posted. Maybe they have a 2 or 3 of their best players on both teams!

Or maybe your players don’t have good foot skills and can’t play in tight spaces.

Yep, you are sharp as a tool - I am a FC parent.
Teams were set up to be even. We had Big Pink in goal for both games because the other gk was injured. I believe one other kid came down with the flu, so we had one field player play both games as well.
I imagine your team was also off a few weeks and were just a little rusty in the first futsal game of the year. No need to worry about the shellacking, wasn’t our intent, aren’t looking at the standings.
The only domination that you really should be concerned about is the evisceration that you receive from me each time you post something ludicrous. Donkey.

So you must have had the big forward pushing everyone out of the way to score goals. That is not soccer nor is it futsal!

Come to me with a problem (and you lot sure like to bring this one up a lot) and don’t offer a solution and I’ll either fire you or just call you a whiner.

Maybe you can talk to the refs. The kid has played in many games, officiated by many different refs. Perhaps you can get them all to apply a different set of rules to him since he is big (or whatever other bias you might Harbour against him). I mean, it just doesn’t seem fair, does it, that almost every ref lets him not play soccer or futsal, adrift of the rules of the game.

Yeah, so quit yer whining and offer up a solution to your problem.

🤣 I am a Crossfire parent (no, I am not a donkey.) I watched a little of the first game, and saw all of the 2nd FC Crossfire game. Trust me, FC did nothing out of the ordinary. They were just better. Crossfire was flat, and stagnant. Also, the kid somebody referenced about "pushing kids out of the way" he did not play. Somebody else said that Crossfire has never been good at futsal, and I would have to agree. We are new to the club, but based on what I saw, I would have to say that is true.

Thanks Crossfire parent! It’s really no big deal in the end. Futsal is fun, and I think it is technically very beneficial. I wish everyone would just take it as that. No upset people over an inconsequential heavy loss, and no braggadocio over someone who thinks their team is the cats meow. A donkey you are not.

***C parent here and know several of the kids that were on the court and Reality is FC had 3 of their top field players and a big long athletic goalie in the little goals and never had to sub those top players off the court, crossfire bench players got exposed badly. Not taking anything away from fc though they took full advantage of the situation
