It will cause a loss of year of play for some kids. Benefits? None.

    It's a bad change.
    Right!

Teams can stay together...you can play with your friends...
It's called Rec soccer. Go play Rec and you'll be happy

Just love the fact that so many parents are whining about this. Sorry guys, you should have knocked the wife up about three months later. Then your kid would have been one of the oldest rather than the youngest.

Or they can play volleyball or basketball, maybe their lumbering kids can play one of those sports where they still get to be the oldest. Or gymnastics. Or Dance Team. Lots of options.

Agreed. I was just being specific towards soccer.

If your kid wants to play soccer to have fun, it is a reflection of poor parenting skills. You are at fault.

They should realize that they are part of something bigger. The USMNT needs this change.

Anyone who plays for enjoyment or with friends should be removed from the team, forcibly if need be.

We should all be honored to make strides to help the USMNT.

Anyone who questions this should be treated with great suspicion.
We realize there will be a 10%-20% drop off in numbers on girls side but by raising fees 20% there will be a larger gross profit in the long run so no worries.

That is what this is all about. Individual development and the pain of hard work. That is what drives kids. The dream of being better.

That is why the greatest players don't have friends and we all should strive for this for our children.
This attitude should be pounded away starting at U7.

                      This is a non-issue.
                      I will not sign this.
If your daughter wants to play with her school buddies she can play recreational soccer.

You are the problem with US Soccer (and the US in general)

Follow the rules and stop whining!

You are weak and pathetic. Only weak people follow bad rules.

Hurry up and make the change please. Send those end of year birthday kids to the back of the age groups. Then they can whine and whine to a whole new group of parents as their kids are forced to move to a new team.

Good people will shut up and accept whatever changes the ministers prescribe.
