I knew Onyx had put in a few more than that, but it's not like their starting 11 all went to P5 schools. Now some ECNL teams do send a boatload to P5 schools, but Portland teams won't do that. At the U16, there are three from FCP, but only two who really earned it, the other is due to a favor by the AD. CU probably won't have any. And at the current U15 teams I doubt CU puts in any, and in fact, that team is so weak that without stronger players joining from other clubs, might only put a couple into lower D1. FCP may have one or two Pac 12 and then a few more in lower D1. So in summary, the TA clubs will probably have about as many, if not one or two more Pac 12 commits than the local ECNL teams.
Anyone who claims two commits are due to a "a favor by the AD" and that the girls "did not earn it" not only makes everything else that was said suspect, but pretty much just makes that person a sad dirt bag.

U are not very smart. You need to stop before you are exposed and embarrassed.

        Congrats to the girls.
As a UP fan, having 5 of 7 UP recruits being loca, and all being from the NW, is not a good sign of progress for the UP program.

Maybe, maybe not. Either way great to play D1 in your hometown.

Nothing wrong with a small local school taking local girls. Makes the most sense, actually.

They can't. There is no list to share.

Sorry, but facts are facts mom. I know it's difficult to hear, but it's the truth.

Onyx parents sure do sit on this board a lot. It's like non stop for them. Two things are consistent: they live on TS and they are complete jerks in life.

And you are awesome. If everyone on here accused of being an Onyx parent actually is one, they must have 50 players, wow, big team!

More likely it is one or two parents, but keep putting everyone in one big bucket, it helps your hate for them grow.

Not an FC parent, don't know the girls. Know the process though and you must be referring to California since they are the only PAC12 school with two FC U16 recruits. There is no way in hell UC Berkley is giving up two roster spots for a favor. I think you are smoking too much weed.....

Why is giving up two roster spots a problem? Is there a max number of spots a team can give. I would understand if it involved athletic money, which my understanding was no athletic money was involved. So give all the spots you want, they would just be practice player, no expense to the school, mom and dad are paying for them.

They are getting athletic money. Obviously not that much given the size of the rosters but it is an excellent school and will be a great experience.

Yes, there is a limit on how to how many they bring in, the school makes that determination.

And as far as cost? Whether they get athletic money or not, (which what sophomore takes a deal with no money, being out of state, I am sure they got something, at minimum they get admissions help which the team is definitely limited on that too), why give two spots to girls they think cannot help you when you can get hundreds of California girls that will go for zero money just to get into the school? The coach definitely thinks they can help them or is no point.

Totally agree with this and they are talented soccer players as well as seem to be good kids. No I'm not there parent nor FCP

That's what's happening. Family connection. Having an extra practice player isn't that big of a burden for the team.
