My bad, a few more at 333. If you are "top program" guy then I'm out. Have a fantastic day.

333 D1 programs?? Wow, that is a lot. No, playing D1 certainly isn't that big of a deal. Still nice but truly not such a big deal.

Usually have zero girls on severely watered down ODP regional teams. Are we not developing the right girls? Do we rely too much on big girls bootball at the younger ages? Do we leave too many girls in our OR elite groups who simply don't cut it anymore? For how soccer crazy we are as a state, sure seems like we should be producing a lot more elite girls.

That is a pretty big deal

It doesn't mean we shouldn't be proud of our girls but they simply aren't anywhere near the girls from some other states.

For CA girls, only playing at UCLA, Stanford, etc is a big deal. Our girls are coming from an entirely different and much much lower level soccer world. It would be like pitting our 7th grade OR girls vs our own 12 grade Oregon players - no contest, though a couple of our 7th graders would do ok.

U16 - one player invited to US National training camp for U16 next month
U17 - one player invited for trial with US Canadian team (player is committed D1)
U17 - one player invited to US U18 National training camp last fall (player committed D1)
U18 - one player invited to US U19 National training camp last fall (player committed D1), but unable to attend due to injury
Congrats to all these girls, great accomplishments, for the US training camps, usually only 24 girls per birth year total for the nation is invited per camp. Whoever said that is not a big deal has an issue with perfectionism and needs counseling right away!

Very cool... Great for the girls, the State of Oregon and CU. Great work in developing these talented ladies.
I guess that begs another question. Where these young ladies developed by the CU feeder clubs? Or where they recruited in?
