If a coach is time stretched and has to prioritize one player over the other chances are he'll look at a player in a better bracket - even more so if the lower brackets are inconvenient/more work to get to.

Ecnl is not going away. They will change to adapt to the new challenges. More teams, more games. Might not be top tier but still fun.
