OYSA convinces OPL to shut down their Fall league

Westside Metros, Eastside United and PCU were booted by SSC, LOSC, FC PDX & THUSC. This is a fact.

OPL ran the league with all volunteers, so the fees should of been even lower. As the clubs were paying all the DOC's during there time spent with the OPL enterprise. Sadly, the OPL didn't lower fees and make it an even more reasonable fee for the Clubs. But they didn't and stockpiled hundreds of thousands of dollars without any redistribution to the clubs who overpaid for the services upon dissolution. F--Uped and transparent.

BTW OPL is not a 501c3 for the record.

At the time of the "booting", the Westside and Eastside clubs were already in the Alliance and were renamed "Timbers".

You continue to ignore WHY those clubs were voted out. There was a legitimate reason.

The OPL had 2 paid employees running the league. More lies. There is absolutely no honest reason teams are paying $200 more per season to The Timbers. Oops... I mean OYSA.

Actually, league fee checks are made out to "Peregrine LLC", not OYSA.

The OPL had 2 paid employees running the league. More lies. There is absolutely no honest reason teams are paying $200 more per season to The Timbers. Oops... I mean OYSA.

Since they committed no crimes or did anything reprehensible why they were 'booted' will always be a something the other 4 club DOC's can explain, as they are the only ones who voted to remove these 3 clubs.

There is absolutely no way a league (OPL) should be operating with such a huge surplus unless they are doing it off the backs of DOC's volunteering their Club salary time to the administration of the league. Which they were, fact.

The OPL didn't evolve and hire more staff to run the day to day operations and folded with a staff of two clerks 'running the league' that's funny if true, but it does give a picture of the final days of the OPL. They are gone and revisiting their final days is not too glamorous.

It's not recorded that any club named Westside Timbers or Eastside Timbers ever attended an OPC meeting.

How many people do you think "run" the Timbers league? A total of 2. But the league fees pay the salaries of about 10 people in the Timbers organization.

Just saying I followed the link above for the 2012 State Cup and those teams were called Westside Metros and Eastside United at least until Aug 1 of 2012. I don't know when the name changed happened but it didn't happen in practice until at least after Aug 1 of 2012 or later.

At the same time FC PDX and THUSC were 'double dealing' playing in the 2012 OYSA state cup and OPL as well, why weren't they booted also?

those '2' working as league schedulers for the Timbers/OYSA league scheduling make nearly 4x as much as the 2 OPL staffers did with the support of 8 DOC's. The DOC's kept salaries in the OPL league scheduling arena very low, as they (DOC's) did so much of the league structure, disciplinary, format etc..which saved costs and allowed them another way to stockpile revenues from the clubs.
