Do we extrapolate from these fluke results that the World Cup competition is Garbage and pointless? or that the USYS Championship is a Joke?
When nothing is on the line and the game being played has no consequences It's merely a friendly game.
The body of work produced by this local girls club team that upset the so-cal team in a local tournament is hardly an edict about the quality of the losing or winning team and especially not relevant to the quality needed to win a USYS National Title.
Nice try.

Of course it never is with you guys. On the other hand had that THUSC team lost to the Legends team you'd be all over it as an example of how great USYS is. I know. I know. Well, can't wait until next season when we get to have fun watching all of these terrible OPL teams spank up on the TA teams, cant wait.
By the way.... can ANY OYSA team from last year even give ONE example of a fluke win against a So Cal or Wasington team that were ranked in the top 3?? .... Nah I didn't think so.

The USYS is great due to it's history, longevity and the quality of it's National Championship Series format/structure. Just a quick memo their is no longer such a thing as an OPL team, the OPL was a league that folded. The state has 100's of teams that had a cup of coffee playing in the OPL league over the last 5 years all of them are now playing in the OYSA again. So, the TA teams you want to spank are actually former OPL league teams just like the crop of former OPL league teams rejoining the OYSA this fall.
By the way, many OYSA teams have actually beaten the best from So. Cal and Washington year after year in route to Regional Titles and National Finals. Leapfrogging those teamst in subjective rankings based on their body of work beating other top ranked teams. Unlike the fluke result you are clinging too.
