After a quick perusal of that thread, most of it is just talk about soccer at that age, less of the 'yeah, my club is OPL/Timber so it's so much better' bs. that is on most of the threads.

Lots of coaches worried about their little 'Star' playing leaving and trying out for ECNL. It's not like girls are going to want to play $3600 for a couple of crappy matches in FWRL and then play in the H.S. OYSA winter league.

vs REALLY bad competition at FCP Showcase?? Or does Salmon Creek's select teams do the trick for you ECNL teams?? Or Washington club B teams?

Oh and there isn't TRYOUT's for ECNL...they can't seem to give away spots let alone make cuts. Probably why your kid actually is on a team at this point.

It's like playing OYSA but less of a drive and more exposure.

But I'm sure 4th out of 6th place impressed the one coach that showed up. With that mentality you might think about taking your team up to that college thingy up in washington. There's only going to be one coach there as well. Right up your alley.
